About Nuovo Energy Solutions

Norman Scott is the Managing Partner for Nuovo Energy Solutions. Norm was the founding partner for Nuovo and has worked in many industries over the past 45+ years. While he lived in Charlotte, NC, he started the largest thermoplastic recycling company in the Southeast and also served on the Mecklenburg County Recycling Committee in the days well before recycling of home and office products was a standard. In 1990, Norm moved to the Myrtle Beach, SC, area and started a full service real estate company, Tartan Management, Inc. This company is enjoying its 25th year of service in the Grand Strand area. Norm had a desire to get back into a field that was more technical and this led to the creation of Nuovo Energy Solutions. Nuovo is proud to be one of the top dealers for Bauer Compressors, Inc., Norfolk, VA.

David Wood is the President of Nuovo Energy Solutions with the primary responsibility of managing the finances and marketing direction of our company. David began his career at age 19 and, with only a thousand dollars of capital, he developed his business, A. H. Inc., into one of the largest retail manufactured companies in North Carolina, winning frequent awards as Retailer of the Year. During that time, he started a manufactured housing factory that was later sold to a publicly held corporation. David is the owner and President of Pilot Homes, a home building, land development and rental management company headquartered in Salisbury, N. C. He is also a real estate broker licensed in both North and South Carolina.
